Thirty (30) years of existence of any establishment is something to be proud of, hence, the Filipino Association for Mariners’ Employment, Inc. (FAME) has prided itself for successfully celebrating its pearl anniversary last March 2004. 

The celebration focused on two activities: the “Sports Fest for A Cause” held on 20 March 2004 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium, Vito Cruz St., Malate, Manila; and, the “Golf Tournament for a Cause” held on 12 March 2004 at the Canlubang Golf and Country Club, Laguna. 

Participated by eighty four (84) member companies with a total of two thousand (2000) participants and guests, the “Sports Fest For A Cause” had strengthen the alliance of FAME member companies through a one-day healthy endeavor of fun-filled sports and wacky games. 

Adding fun and excitement to the event is the on-the-spot selection of Ms. FAME which was awarded to Ms. Iryl Mercado of Singa Ship Management, Inc.
