Administrator Cacdac in his short message expressed his appreciation to the Association for its close working relationship and continued support to the government to carry out policies and programs ensuring the protection and welfare of the Filipino seafarers and the entire industry as well.

The new set of FAME Officers and Board of Directors under the leadership of Mr. Kato committed to continue what has been started by the previous leadership and further strengthen the mechanisms to ensure the consistent development of the association and the industry as it is reflected in the ideals and principles of the Association and for the continuity of the established rapport and harmonious relationship with other associations, government agencies and other stakeholders.

The event was also graced by the presence of friends from the partner-government agencies, maritime associations, unions, associates, and local maritime press who have been very supportive to FAME in accomplishing improvements for the Philippine maritime and seafaring industry.

It was a simple evening celebration of Christmas yet filled with fun and gladness as FAME shared its blessings by giving away gifts and fabulous raffle prizes for the members and guests. Likewise, members get the chance again to exchange gifts with each other and bond through the fun games that were facilitated by Ms. Nancy Ebron and Engr. Art Serafico, both members of the Christmas Party Committee. A different way of entertainment was also witnessed as the new set of Officers and Board of Directors caroled the members and guests with endearing and famous Christmas songs that made the evening more blissful.

Indeed it was a night of meaningful celebration for the association, for the new commitment and aspirations from the new leadership in the perfect season of Christmas where love, joy, peace and generosity is warmly expressed significantly around with people that are dear to the Association.
